DAVO is the restaurant of Chef Giovanni Renê Carvalho, founded with the mission of democratizing haute cuisine by breaking away from the rigid etiquette of traditional fine dining. More than a place to eat, DAVO is a bold statement — a celebration of creative freedom at the table.
The visual identity was born from the chef’s own essence: a rich blend of flavors, influences, and ingredients. This diversity is reflected in an expressive, unconventional typographic system.
The logo features four distinct typefaces, each representing a different facet of the brand’s daring personality. Its final form is intentionally ambiguous and rotatable, reinforcing the concept of a brand that refuses to follow rules, directions, or expectations.
DAVO is movement, it’s surprise — a visual and culinary experience that challenges convention with authenticity and irreverence.
